Essential:
1. M.Sc. (Ag.) Pl. Pathology or M.Sc. (Ag.) Pl. Pathology specialization in Plant Virology or M.Sc. Virology.
2. M.Sc. (Ag.) Entomology with experience in handling whiteflies & thrips.
3. M.Sc. (Ag.) Biotechnology or M.Sc. Biotechnology with 1st class.
Desirable: 1. Practical experience in handling plant viruses,
2. Practical experience in handling DNA, RNA & Protein.
3. Knowledge and experience in bioinformatics.
Training Associate 1 post
Rs. 12000/- PM (Consolidated).
Essential: B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture or B.Sc. Botany / Life Sciences.
Desirable: 1 -2 years experience in the field of Horticulture or Agriculture with Basic knowledge in computer application. Preference will be given for holding diploma in Horticulture / Agriculture.
Technical Person 1 post
Rs. 8000/- PM (Consolidated).
Essential: M.Sc. Biotechnology.
The candidates may appear for written test on 20.10.2008 at 10.00 AM and personal interview will be held on the same day to the candidates who qualify in the written test.
On selection, He/She has to deposit an equivalent sum of the value of one month remuneration as “refundable caution deposit”.
Age limit: SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years for women.
(Relaxable in the case of SC/ST, OBC and other exempted categories of candidates to the extent permissible under Rules).
