Engagement of Project Assistants at various levels for in house / externally funded projects at CLRI.

Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai proposes to empanel the candidates to be engaged as Project Assistants at Level – I, II, III & IV for various in house / externally funded projects, tenable at CLRI.

Level – I

Qualifications : 50% of marks in B.Sc (Chemistry / Physics / Biochemistry / Biology or equivalent or 50% of marks Diploma in Leather Technology / Polymer Technology / Chemical Technology /Electronics / or equivalent.

Level – II

Qualifications : 55% of marks in M.Sc (Chemistry / Physics / Biochemistry / Biology / Biotechnology /Environmental Technology / Microbiology or equivalent
BE / B.Tech in Leather Technology / Polymer Technology / Chemical Technology / Biotechnology /Environmental Technology / Civil Engineering / B.Pharm.

Level – III

Qualifications : 55% of marks in ME / M. Tech Leather Technology / Polymer Technology / Chemical Technology /Biotechnology / Environmental Technology / Civil Engineering / M.Pharm) or Qualifications of Level – II plus 2 years experience in the relevant fields.

Level – IV

Qualifications : Ph.D. in Science / Technology.

Terms & Conditions:
The candidates will be empanelled and may be engaged as Project Assistants based on requirements. Tenure of the Project Assistants will be strictly co-terminus with the duration of the Project.

Relaxation of age is applicable up to 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Rules.

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may attend the Walk-in-Interview at Triple Helix Auditorium, CLRI, scheduled for Tuesday, the 14th October, 2008 from 10.00 a.m onwards. They need not send their application in advance.
