The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) started in 1914 is a premier scientific institution established primarily for the purpose of providing a common platform to the scientists, engineers and technologists of all categories belonging to different disciplines for sharing their expertise and experience. ISCA brings together scientists from India and abroad for mutual interaction thus helping them in achieving their common goal of scientific advancement for the good of the society.

The Objectives

The Objectives of the Association are:
  • To advance and promote the cause of Science in India
  • To hold an Annual Congress at a suitable place in India
  • To publish proceedings, journals for popularizing Science

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Please note that it is mandatory for all participants (and accompanying person(s), if any) to register themselves by completing and sending the Registration and Accommodation Request Form with requisite fee (if applicable) and photographs to The Local Secretary, 96thISC, NEHU, Shillong 793022, India by November 30, 2008.

Late or spot registration would entail substantially high late fee. Registration form can also be downloaded here.

Registration form can be submitted by e-mail/FAX/post and fee can be paid by draft/multicity cheque/Inter-bank transfer.

All prospective participants of the 96th ISC, who sent their abstracts/papers for presentation, shall soon be receiving letters of acceptance/rejection and other instructions from their respective Sectional Presidents. Any inquiry about abstract/paper acceptance etc. should be addressed ONLY to the respective Sectional President and NOT to organizers at NEHU.
