Project "Elucidation of the role of primary structure of proteins on their antimicrobial activity"
Essential Qualifications : MSc with First class in any branch of Life Sciences/Computer Sciences (preferably Bioinformatics) OR B.E/B.Tech with First Class in Computer Sciences / Bioinformatics OR
MCA/MTech or a post-graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics
Desired Skills: Research experience in bioinformatics; knowledge in computer programming; database creation
Age: Below 28 years (Relaxable maximum of 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 yrs for OBC candidates as per GOI rules)
Salary: Rs.8000/- per month
The above appointment will be purely on temporary basis till the project is continued. The appointee will not have any claim for a regular post in the institute or in any department of GOI. Persons on regular time scale service in government organizations/ institutions are not eligible for applying for the post.
