Post of SRF

Applications are invited for the post of senior research fellow (SRF) for the third year in CSIR funded project entitled “Structure analysis of human Transporter Associated with Antigen Processing (TAP)” in Structural Biology group of Dr. Ajay K. Saxena, SLS, JNU, New Delhi.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Science/Biotechnology/Biophysics + CSIR qualified + 2 years of research experience/or M. Tech in Biotechnology with good academic record. Work experience in wet lab, biochemistry and structural biology lab is desirable. The salary will be fixed as per guidelines of the funding agency and JNU.

JRF Post

Application are invited on plain paper for the position of one JRF in a DRDO funded project entitled “Analysis of ubiquitin-proteasome mediated quality control of membrane and secretory proteins in Entamoeba histolytica” in the laboratory of the undersigned. The project duration is for three years. Depending upon the performance the position can be upgraded to SRF in the second and third year. The desired qualifications and emoluments are as follows:

Masters degree or equivalent in Life-Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or any other related area. The candidate should have had some practical training in a laboratory (summer training or project work). Knowledge of molecular biology techniques is desirable. Salary: Rs. 14000/- p.m. +HRA as per govt. rules.
