Scientist B
[scale 8000-275-13500 (pre-revised)] in a plan program of the Department of Biotechnology on computational biology, protein-protein interaction and immunoinformatics for application in vaccine design.
The scientist will be expected to develop strategies on vaccine candidates by using computational methods and immunoinformatics as well as develop nano based platforms for vaccine delivery by better understanding of protein-protein interaction.
The position will be for initially for 5 years and then extended if the plan program remains funded. Applicants must have a PhD in Life Sciences with documented experience and achievements in the subject described. Candidates who have submitted their PhD theses and anticipate degree in six months from date of this advertisement can also apply.
The maximum upper age limit will be 35 as on January 1, 2009. Applications with full bio-data and a one page statement on research plans and goals may be submitted to the undersigned on or before December 10, 2008.
Short listed candidates will be called for a selection interview where they will have to make a ten minute power point presentation on their research achievements in computational biology, bioinformatics and related work as well possible future plans. No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.
