Applications are invited for the selection of one Senior Research Fellow to work in the following Project under the supervision of Prof.A.Ganapathi, Principal Investigator, Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli - 620-024.

Project Title
Development of Agrobacterium mediated genetic transformation and transfer of pinoresinol synthase gene into Podophyllum hexandrum Royle (syn. P. emodi Wall. ex Hook.f. & Thomas) to improve the podophyllotoxin content

Qualification

M.Sc., Biotechnology/Botany/Agricultural Biotechnology with experience in plant tissue culture& Agrobacterium mediated genetic transformation

Total Emoluments
Rs. 14,000/- + HRA + MA per month
