Biochemistry Assistant Director

Educational & other qualifications:
Essential:
a) Post-Graduate Degree in Bio-Chemistry from a recognised University/Institution.
b) 7 years Research/Teaching experience in Bio-Chemistry out of which 5 years of regular service in Research/Teaching in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 (pre-revised) or 8 years of regular service in Research/Teaching in Bio-Chemistry in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 (pre-revised) in a recognised Institution/College/University after obtaining the Degree.
OR
a) Ph.D in Bio-Chemistry from a recognised University/Institution.

Botany Research Officer
No. of vacancies: 08 (UR-4, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-1)
Age: Maximum 40 years & below as on 1st January of the recruitment year.
Scale of Pay: Revised Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Educational & other qualifications:
Essential:
a) Post-Graduate Degree in Botany from a recognised University/Institution.
b) 5 years Research/Teaching experience in Botany after obtaining the Degree in a recognised Institution/College/University.
OR
a) Ph.D in Botany from a recognised University/Institution.
b) 3 years Research/Teaching experience in Botany in a recognised Institution/College/University.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE SERVICE:
1. Out of the above Group-A direct recruitment vacancies 3% are reserved for Physically Handicapped persons.
2. The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely. Pension will be admissible as per new restructured defined Contributory Pension Scheme. Probation period will be two years. The posts mentioned above are transferable and the individual selected can be posted anywhere in India.
3. Age relaxation will be allowed to SC/ST/OBC/PH and in Govt.Servant as per Govt. Rules in force. No age bar for the employees of the CCRAS.

5. Application format can also be downloaded from Council’s Website www.ccras.nic.in . Form duly completed together with application fee of Rs.20/- for SC/ST and Rs.100/- for OBC/General Candidate in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, CCRAS, New Delhi, should be sent to the Dy.Director(Admn.), CCRAS, at the above mentioned address so as to reach on or before 09 January 2009. PH candidates are exempted from this payment of application fee.
6. Persons already in service must submit their applications through proper channel. While forwarding applications of in service candidates, Head of the Institutions should certify that the applicants are free from Administrative and Vigilance angle and that no vigilance proceedings are pending or contemplated. Photocopies of ACRs dossier of the candidate(s) for the last five years may also be forwarded along with application in sealed covers.
7. Application received late/incomplete and/or without fee will not be entertained.
8. Note: Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for the interview, the applications will be short listed for this purpose and decision of the Director, CCRAS, will be final in this regard.
9. Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd Class rail fare by shortest route on production of documents.
10. Any Canvassing by or on behalf of candidate or bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be a disqualification.
