Applications are invited in the given proforma for the following various temporary posts at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore under Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi.

1) JRF – 2 posts:
Project: DST Project on Development of PCR based … Tomato seeds.
Essential: M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology.
Desirable: Experience in molecular diagnostics for fungal Pathogens is desirable.
Pay: Rs. 12, 000/- + HRA.
Period of the Project: 03.07.2011.

2) SRF – 1 post:
Project: CSIR Project on Development of molecular markers .. Anthurium.
Essential: M.Sc. Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Genetics & Plant Breeding.
Desirable: Experience in molecular markers and tissue culture is desirable.
Pay: Rs. 14, 000/- + HRA.
Period of the Project: 20.09.2010.

3) SRF – 2 posts:
Project: BMZ – GTZ Project on Tomato.
Essential: M.Sc. (Agri.) in Genetics & Plant Breeding / M.Sc. (Horticulture) specialized in vegetable breeding.
Pay: Rs. 12, 000/- + HRA.
Period of the Project: 30.09.2009.

4) SRF – 2 posts:
Project: 1) Studies on species complex and dynamics cucurbits. 2) Bio-Ecology of thrips vectors watermelon necrosis.
Essential: M.Sc. Zoology / Entomology.
Pay: Rs. 8, 000/- + HRA.
Period of the Project: 31.03.2009.

5) Technical person – 1 post:
Project: ICAR Network Project on Transgenic crops- Tomato.
Essential: M.Sc Biotechnology.
Pay: Rs. 8,000/- PM (consolidated).
Period of the Project: 31.03.2009.

6) Technical person – 1 post:
Project: ICAR Network Project on Transgenic in crops - Functional genomics- Banana.
Essential: M.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics with experience in DNA Markers.
Pay: Rs. 8,000/- PM (consolidated).
Period of the Project: 31.03.2009.
