Pay of PB-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100/-) plus Grade Pay Rs.7,600/-

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

(i) M.B.B.S. Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university and recognized by MCI or first class Master’s Degree in any branch of Life Science from a recognized university or equivalent, or second class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Life Science with Ph.D. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Eight years research experience in relevant areas.

Desirable:

(i) Doctorate Degree in Life Science or M. D. in the related.

(ii) Additional post doctoral Research/Teaching experience in relevant subjects.

(iii) Knowledge of computer application

(iv) Working experience in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology.

(v) Publication in high impact journals.

Job Requirements:

(i) To assist in planning, formulation and conducting research on Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology. Knowledge of detection and cultivation of L. donovani parasite, Cloning, Sequencing and sequence analysis of genes and proteins RNA Biology, immunological aspects of host and parasite interaction

(ii) any other responsibilities assigned by the Director.
