For Research Associate :
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. degree. in any Science subject.Desirable: Experience in microscopy (fluorescence/live cell imaging/immunohistochemistry) or, behavioral studies using water/radial arm mazes will be preferred.
However, in case a suitably experienced Ph.D. degree holder is unavailable, but a non-Ph.D. candidate possessing reasonable experience in the field is available and is otherwise suitable for the job, the selection committee will have the discretion to lower the post and consider such a candidate, however, the salary will be decided by the selection committee.
For JRFs :
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any branch of Science.Desirable: Degree in Physiology/Neurobiology and experience in cellular electrophysiology, and related techniques will be preferred.
