SCIENTIST ‘B’ (Electron Microscopy) (Reserved for OBC) (One Post):
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL : First Class Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Molecular Biology/ other life sciences from recognized University or equivalent.
OR
Second Class Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Molecular Biology/ other life sciences or relevant subjects with Ph.D. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
DESIRABLE :
i) Ph.D in any of the above subjects OR
ii) Two to Three years experience in using SEM & TEM during study period/Ph.D thesis.
iii) Knowledge of Computer applications.JOB REQUIREMENTS
: i) To carry out studies in the area of Electron Microscopy relevant to the Institute’s research.
ii) Should be able to maintain EM lab.
iii) Should collaborate with other divisions of Institutes for EM work as and when required.
SCIENTIST ‘B’ (Food Science / Bio-Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry ) (Reserved for OBC) (One Post):
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL :
First Class Master’s Degree in Food Science / Bio-chemistry / Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry Or relevant subjects from a recognized University or equivalent.
OR
Second Class Master’s Degree in any of the above subjects with Ph.D. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
DESIRABLE:
i) Doctorate Degree in Food Science / Biochemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry with first class relevant degree OR
ii) Three years research / teaching experience in related discipline as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed Journals.
iii) Knowledge of Computer applications.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To actively participate and assist in research programmes of the Institute especially in the area of food and drug toxicology.AGE:
Not exceeding 40 years for Scientist “C” and 35 years for Scientist “B”. SC / ST / OBC / PH are allowed relaxation in accordance with the Central Government Rules and relaxable upto 5 years for Government servants.
