ANNOUNCES ADMISSION TO M.Sc.-Ph.D. Combined and M.Sc. Degree in Biomedical Sciences - 2009
The focus of the teaching and research is on Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, Medical Biotechnology, Molecular Genetics, Human Physiology, Organic Chemistry, Molecular Oncology, Tumour Virology, Natural Product Chemistry, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Pharmacology and Toxicology.
‘Catch Them Young’ -CSIR fellowships (20 for M.Sc.)
Jean Ashit Ganguly Educational Scholarship
Jawahar Bhawan Trust merit cum means scholarship (2 for M.Sc.) and
Major S.P. Datta award for toppers of MSc are also available for deserving students.
Applications are invited on the prescribed form for the following Courses:
1. MSc-PhD Combined Degree in Biomedical Sciences (Full Time 4 Years Course)
2. MSc Degree in Biomedical Sciences (Full Time 2 Years Course)
3. PhD Degree in Biomedical Sciences (Full Time)Admission Test: Admission Test for M.Sc. and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Degree Courses will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 09:00 a.m.
4. Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) and Summer Out-Reach Programme of 8 weeks duration is scheduled between June-July 2009.
Senior Under-Graduate and Post Graduate students are considered
5. Interview for admission to Ph.D. will be held in June/July, 2009.
Last date of Receiving completed application forms M.Sc./Ph.D. is 16th May 2009
