FACULTY POSITIONS
The Gautam Buddha University established by U.P.Act is being developed as a University of excellence imparting post graduate level education in Management, Information and Communication Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Studies, International Law, Humanities, Buddhist Studies, and in other emerging areas.
Faculty positions are available in
School of Biotechnology with specialization in Bioinformatics/Genetic Engg.
Qualifications:
Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional working in industry with established reputation, who has made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional cases.
Research Associate: Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks for Gen./OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, in relevant discipline.
Experience :
Professor - Minimum 10 years in Teaching / Research / Industrial experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Associate Professor - Minimum 8 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, should also have good research publications.
Assistant Professor - At least three years Teaching / Research / Industrial
experience and should have good research publications.
Research/Faculty Associate- At least one year Teaching/Research Experience at a
recognized degree level institute at appropriate level and should have good research publications.
Research Publications must be in National/International refereed Journals with good impact factors/gradings or Proceeding of Conferences organized by National/ International Institutse of repute/universities.
Pay Scales: (pre-revised)
Professor - 18,400-500-22,400
Associate Professor - 16,400-450-20,000
Assistant Professor - 12,000-420-18,300
Research/Faculty Associate - 21,000-25,000 (consolidated)
