Lecturer Posts @ Rs. 8,000/- - Rs. 13,500/- plus DA

No of Positions -6 (SC-2, ST-1, OBC-2 and Physically Handicapped-1)

We are looking for highly motivated, competent scientists of Indian Nationality with established credentials. While applications in all areas of research pursued at Bose Institute would be considered, preference would be given to candidates whose expertise and interest would strengthen the ongoing programmes in the area of :-

(1) Plant Molecular Biology/Biotechnology

(2) Molecular Biology and Genetics

(3) Synthetic Organic Chemistry

(4) Medical Biotechnology

(5) Radiation Physics/Soft condensed matter (experiment or theory)

(6) Bioinformatics

Essential Qualification

Good academic record with a doctorate degree. 3-years’ post-doctoral experience, with publications of commendable merit in the fields mentioned above.

Desirable Qualification

Ability to carry out independent research. Acquaintance with modern techniques of research.

Age Preferable below 35 years (relaxation in age will be admissible as per Central Government Rules).
