Eligibility
Scholars with 1st Class BE/ BTech in Engineering or 1st Class PG in Science/ Psychology/ Mathematics, who have successfully defended their PhD thesis between 01 Jan 2008 to 30 June 2009.
Subject/ Disciplines
Engineering/ Life Sciences/ Basic Sciences/ Psychology/ Mathematics with
area of research having direct interest/relevance to DRDO.
Post/ Scale of Pay
Scientist ‘C’, in the scale of Rs. 15600–39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 plus amount equivalent to two increments and allowances & facilities as applicable to Central Government employee i.e. Leave Travel Concession, Medical Facilities, Advance for Car, House Building and Computer, Professional Update Allowance, Group Insurance, CSD etc.
Closing Date
The Closing Date for applicants who have successfully defended
their thesis (i) Between 01 Jan 08 - 31 Dec 08 is 30 days from the date of publication (ii) Between 01 Jan 09 - 30 Jun 09 is 30 Sep 2009
