Scientific Officer Vacancy

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out product development activities at NutriPlus.
  • Design recipes in development phase to ensure that nutritional parameters are met before recipe is finalized.
  • Carry out proximate analysis, nutritional evaluation, shelf life and microbiological evaluation.
  • Conduct sensory evaluation.
  • Plan and execute scale-up trials at pilot and factory level.
  • Vendor development to achieve innovation in ingredient and process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology with 2-3 years of experience

Experience in development of neutraceutical, fortified, functional foods; knowledge and understanding of PFA and related food laws and its applications to food design and labelling. Experience in implementing GMPs, HACCP and commercialization of food products at 3rd party. Ability to collate analyze and apply scientific literature will be an added advantage. The candidate should be a good team player with excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.
