NIPER, Hajipur is looking for faculty of high calibre and potential, willing to face the challenge of building the institute into a center of excellence. The focus is on Master’s, Doctoral and Post Doctoral programmes. However, current focus is on Master’s programme.

The openings are for Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers on consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 53000/-, Rs.32,000/- and Rs.23,000/- respectively for 2 years initially.

Biotechnology

Associate Professor: One post
Assistant Professor: One post
Lecturer: One post

Strong background in molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology with hands-on experience in proteomics/ genomics (experience of using 2-D gel electrophoresis, MALDI and data integration) and/ or in systems biology.

Biostatistics

Assistant Professor: One post
Lecturer: One Post

Strong background in Statistics/ Bio-Statistics/ Medical/ Biomedical/ Pharmaceutical Statistics.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch/ subject with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years of experience out of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Assistant Professor: Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch/ subject with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years teaching/ research/ industrial experience with published work of high quality.

Lecturer:1st class Master Degree in appropriate branch/ subject with experience in teaching / research/ industry or Ph. D in relevant areas may be considered
