Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The Director, IIIM, Jammu invites applications for the following posts in the prescribed application form from the young & Dynamic Indian nationals who have the excellent academic record & experience in the given areas as per details under :
Scientist E-II Gr. IV(4) One Post (UR)
Area: Life Sciences
Max. Age Limit : 45 yrs
Rs. 37400-67000 (PB-4) with grade pay of Rs.8700/pm
Gross Salary: Rs. 56,250 + HRA + Other benefits
Ph. D. in Life Sciences / Pharmacology / Medical Biotechnology / Immunology / Zoology or equivalent qualification with 07 years experience after Ph. D. in the relevant area evidenced by high quality publications.
Experience in the field of drug discovery and development / Pharmacokinetics and prior experience in systematic bio-evaluation and studies on molecular mechanism of action of lead compounds will be preferred
This is a leadership position and selected candidate is required to work as a team / group leader for drug discovery projects and or sustainable utilization of medicinal / aromatic plant resources.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills with awareness about issues related to Project management/ technology transfer etc.
