Duration : 1 year and 8 months

Title of the Project : Development of Alternaria carthami disease resistant transgenic plants of Safflower through overexpression of chitinase gene disease resistance

Qualification  MSc Botany / Plant Science / Plant Biotechnology degree with minimum marks of 55% and two years research experience

Preferable : Basic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation, preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC /CSIR / NET/ GATE / National tests.
