BIOTECH INDUSTRIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME 2009-10

FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY STUDENTS FROM NORTH EASTERN STATES (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram,  Nagaland and Tripura)

Eligibility

Students with BTech/BE/MSc/MTech/MVSc in Biotech, Bioinformatics from recognized universities in North Eastern states or domicile of North Eastern states.

A demand draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of “Biotech Consortium India Limited” payable at New Delhi towards non-refundable application fee along with filled-in application form is to be sent to “Mr. Manoj Gupta, Deputy Manager, Biotech Consortium India Limited, 5th floor, Anuvrat Bhawan, 210, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, New Delhi-110002”. Please write your Name, date of birth and mobile no. on the reverse side of the demand draft. Students have to attach attested copy of proof of domicile of North Eastern State and degree/final mark sheet with the application form.

The last date for submission of application is 20th December 2009

Students who have already undergone training under BITP or are employed will not be eligible.

Students whose applications are found to be complete and eligible in all respects and are shortlisted will only be called for the interview. Individual intimation would be sent to the shortlisted candidates for interview.

Students called for interview will have to bring a copy of their dissertation work.

Filling up this form does not guarantee training under BITP. The decision of the selection committee shall be final and binding. Training does not ensure permanent placement. Candidates interested in higher studies and research need not apply.

Candidates will be required to join anywhere in India. Applications for change of location will not be entertained.

Students who by their own efforts are able to obtain recommendations from companies for training may be given preference. They would also be required to undergo the selection procedure. They can bring the recommendation letter from company while coming for the interview. However, the decision of the selection
committee shall be final and binding.

Students selected for training will have to make their own arrangements for lodging & boarding.
