Molecular Biologist: Recombinant Protein Production Group
Job Description The incumbent will lead the recombinant protein production group and responsible for development and implementation of technologies for high throughput expression of recombinant human proteins, cell cultivation and fermentation in prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells at laboratory scale and large scale level production of recombinant proteins.
Qualification and Experience PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Microbiology or any other related area of Life Sciences with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in industries. M. Sc. with 7-10 years of industrial experience may also apply. The candidate must be proficient in contemporary technologies employed for recombinant protein expression in E. coli and/or eukaryotic or mammalian cells, including cell transformation and transfection techniques, cell line development, vector design and protein purification techniques. The applicant should have publications in international journals as an evidence of his/her expertise in recombinant protein technologies.
Job Description The incumbent is expected to be well versed with the techniques used in in vitro/ in vivo production and characterization of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. The responsibilities will include development of hybridomas, selection of desired clones, bioreactor process development, optimization of antibody expression level, antibody purification and characterization. The incumbent will also be involved in mammalian cell culture work. Know-how of genetically engineered antibodies will be an added advantage.

Job Description The incumbent will be expected to undertake projects for isolation and purification of desired proteins from large volumes of human biological fluids. The work would involve from process planning to execution.
Qualification and other Requirements PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or Related field with 5-7 years of relevant industrial experience. M.Sc. with 7-10 years of industrial experience can also apply. The candidate is expected to be proficient in protein isolation and purification tools. The incumbent must have thorough knowledge and experience in protein chemistry, protein isolation and purification from large volumes of human biological fluids and validation, protein refolding and process design. The applicant should have publications in international journals as an evidence of his/her expertise in recombinant protein technologies.
Job Description The team leader would be responsible for quality control programmes related to the production of antibodies, cell derived antigens and recombinant proteins. The responsibilities would include establishing and monitoring of quality control programmes, assay methods and IPQC parameters.
Qualification and other Requirements MSc or PhD Biochemistry, Immunology, or Life Sciences with 5-7 years of relevant industrial experience working especially in the quality control department. The candidate must be proficient in quality control programmes related to IPQC, assay methods, and regulatory requirements. Hands on experience in FACS, BIACORE based assays, protein purification activities, IPQC and product stability studies.
