DTU invites applications from the talented individuals inspired for teaching having a strong zeal towards research and innovation to fill up the posts of Lecturers in the (Pre‐revised) pay scale of Rs 8000‐13500 (likely to be revised and re‐designated as Assistant Professor in the revised scale of pay) in the under mentioned disciplines by direct mode of recruitment.

BioTechnology - 05 Posts (UR-3,OBC-2)
Qualification
First Class BE/B. Tech. Degree in BioTechnology from a recognized university or equivalent. OR
First Class M. E/ M. Tech. Degree in BioTechnology from a recognized university or
equivalent. OR
Ph. D Degree in Applied Biological Sciences(Genetics/Micro Biology/Bio-Chemistry/ BioTechnology/Bio Chemical Engineering)
Note-I If a class/division is not awarded at BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech/equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% Marks in the aggregate shall be considered equivalent to Ist Class/Division. If a grade point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
Note II: In the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering/ Technology, in lieu of the Ist Class degree at Bachelor’s and / or Master’s level in the appropriate branch, a first class master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering /Technology together with a Ist Class Bachelor’s Degree in any area of Engineering/Technology will be acceptable.

The completed application, on the prescribed form, duly filled in and accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 500/- (exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Physically handicapped categories) drawn in favour of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University”, payable at Delhi and complete in all aspects, should be submitted in the University or sent by post, so as to reach the Registrar, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi-110 042 latest by 30th December 2009
