National Meat and Poultry Processing Board (NMPPB) is in process of setting up the National Laboratory at New Delhi. Applications for the following posts are invited from the candidates having the qualifications prescribed below. The positions are purely on Contract basis initially for one year and extendable further.
1. Deputy General Manager (Meat/Poultry) Rs.35,000/- (Fixed) - 2 Posts
Qualification PhD in Biochemistry / Food Science/Veterinary live Stock product Technology (Veterinary Public Health/ Meat Science).
With experience in Meat /Poultry/ Food Analysis/ Quality Control.
3 to 5 Years Senior level experience in Food Testing laboratory/Research centre is preferable.
2. Laboratory Incharge Rs.30,000/-(Fixed) 1 - Post
Qualification PhD in Biochemistry/ Food Science/ Veterinary Science with particular experience in meat quality determination etc.,
3. Senior Research Associates Rs.20,000/-(Fixed) - 1 Post
Qualification MSc, in Biochemistry/Food Science/ Veterinary Science / Microbiology with two years experience.
Age Limit: For S.No.(1) 55 Years and For S.No. 2 & 3, 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of Interview (Relax able as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC candidates) as on 1.1.2010
Mode of Recruitment: Candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements of qualifications and experience will be will be called for the interview at New Delhi.
Terms of Appointment: The term of appointment initially for a period of one Year extendable further subject to performance.
