Our research program is devoted towards understanding the molecular basis of cardiovascular diseases with emphasis on translational research and the development of a vaccine for the prevention of heart disease and stroke.
Job Description
TRI invites applications for a post-doctoral research position in the Functional Genomics facility under a 5-year project funded by the Department of Biotechnology.
Candidates should have a PhD in Biochemistry / Genetics / Biotechnology or related sciences with experience in the areas of candidate gene analysis, gene expression and functional studies.
Prior exposure to field of medical / human genetics with hands-on research experience in state-of-the art molecular biology techniques and statistical methodologies is preferrable.
