A walk-in-interview is being fixed for 18.03.2010 at 9.30 AM for the post of Post Doctoral Fellow (1-UR) in the Division of Fruits and Horticultural Technology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012.
Qualifications:
Essential: PhD in Physiology/Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology/ Horticulture (Fruit Science).
Desirable: Research experience in the area of plant physiology, phytohormone analysis, biochemical and molecular biology techniques.
Fellowship: (Consolidated) Rs. 18,000/-+ HRA per month as applicable under rules.
Age: The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH will be given as per the Govt. of India instructions.
The period of engagement of the Post Doctoral Fellow will be initially for a period of one year which may be extendable upto the end of XI Plan period, i.e. upto 31.03.2012. There is no provision of re-engagement.
The eligible candidate should bring an application on plain paper addressed to Head, Division of Fruits & Horticultural Technology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012 along with complete bio-data giving full particulars, i.e. proof of age, qualification, examinations passed, marks obtained in each examination, research experience in project/scheme, publications (only published with a set of Photostat copy), NOC from present employer etc. The candidate should submit one set of attested copies of marksheets/transcripts.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
