IIAR is looking for outstanding candidates for the post of Lecturer.
Position: Assistant Professor / Lecturer (1)
Pay Scale: 12000-420-18300 / 10000-325-15200
Essential Qualification: Candidates should be M.Sc Botany with at least 55% marks / PhD in Ecology Environment science with minimum 2-3 years of postdoctoral experience and track record of peer reviewed publications.
Desirable: Experience in the areas of Plant ecology, natural and man made ecosystems, field photosynthesis, measurements of carbon fluxes and climate change, understanding of issues of global climate change, knowledge in carbon sequestration, soil respiration and sustainable developments.
Job requirement: Research and post-graduate teaching
General Conditions:
1.Appointment will be initially for a period of one year to be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent. It can however be terminated with a proper notice if the performance is not satisfactory.
