The Spices Board invites application for the following posts :
Scientist ‘C’ (Plant Pathology): 01 Post Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay 6600
Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture with Specialization in Plant Pathology/Plant Virology/Micro- Biology or First Class Post Graduate Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology/Plant Virology/Microbiology from a recognized University.
Scientist ‘B’ (Microbiology): 02 Posts Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay 6600
Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/Applied Microbiology from a recognized University.
Scientist ‘B’ (Plant Pathology): 01 Post Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay 6600
Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture with Specialization in Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Plant Virology or First Class Post Graduate Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology/Plant Virology/Microbiology from a recognized University.
Research Associate (Biochemistry/Physiology): 01 Post (On contract for a period of 2 years, ie,. upto 31.3.2012.)
Qualification: M.Sc (Agriculture/Agricultural Chemistry/Agronomy) or M.Sc Biochemistry/Plant Physiology or B.Sc (Ag) with 3 years of research experience in Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry.
Research Associate – Entomology: 01 Post (On contract for a period of 2 years, ie,. upto 31.3.2012.)
Qualification: M.Sc (Ag)/ Entomology or M.Sc Zoology with specialization in Entomology with minimum of one year research experience in Entomology or Bio-control or B.Sc (Ag)/B.Sc Zoology with 3 years research experience in Entomology/ bio-control agent production.
Pay Scale – Scale of pay applicable to the posts at Sl.No.1 and 2 is PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade pay Rs.6600/- (Total monthly emoluments works out to approximately Rs.34,000/-). Scale of pay applicable to the posts at Sl.No.3 to 6 is PB 3- Rs.15600- 39100/- Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (Total monthly emoluments works out approximately Rs.32000/-) and consolidated pay applicable to posts at Sl.No.7 to 9 is Rs.11,000 + HRA per month. The appointees are likely to be posted anywhere in India
