Junior Research Fellow - 5 Posts

Title of the Program: Enhancing Research Capacity and initiating Ph.D programme in the area of Food Technology

Tenure : 3 years

Fellowship : Rs. 14,000/- including HRA

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc/M.Tech in Food Technology/ Biotechnology/Food Science & Technology/Food Engineering/Agriculture Biotechnology/Dairy Technology/Life Sciences. Those who are appearing for the final semester examination in April/May 2010 of the above courses are also eligible to apply.
Objective of the Project : To enhance the research capacity of their “Centre for Food Technology” by carrying out focused R&D in the area of (a) Food Processing Engineering and (b) Fermentation and Bioprocess Engineering with focus on novel food product development using biotechnological approaches.

Last date for receipt of application : 15.04.2010

The selection criteria would be as per the guidelines of Anna University i.e. written test interview and academic performance.
Short listed candidates have to appear for written test/interview on 22.04.2010 at 09.00 AM at Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University Chennai.

Note : Further to the JRF advertisement of Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University Chennai under Food Technology Programme, it is informed that written test and interview have been postponed to 30th April 2010.  Link
The written test scheduled on 30th April 2010 at 9.00 AM in Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University Chennai, Main Campus will be followed by an interview, only for the selected candidates.
