The Barwale Foundation, a nonprofit organization is planning to conduct five training programs over the next 3-4 months as under:

A. 4-6 May : DNA, RNA & Protein Extraction (Rs. 2,250 / -)

B. 25-27 May: Electrophoresis & PCR Students (Rs. 2,250 / -)

C. 8-10 June: Crop informatics: An Introduction (Rs. 1,500 / -)

D. 22-24 June: Genetics, Plant Breeding & Seed Testing (Rs. 2,000 / -)

There is a special vocational type “hands-on” program titled “plant molecular techniques” especially designed for PG (Biosciences – Biotech, Microbiology, Botany, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Bioinformatics etc) students. 

This upskilling program is spread over two months (15th June – 15th July : 60 days in all ) wherein trainees would be exposed to frequently used bio techniques like Marker Development, DNA fingerprinting, Electrophoresis, RNA / DNA isolation & purification, DNA Sequence analysis, PCR, Micro propagation / Tissue culture, Double Haploidy etc. This lab oriented course is pegged at Rs. 15,000 /- and the foundation will arrange for subsidized boarding & lodging (the cost comes roughly to Rs. 13,000/-).

As usual, the foundation secures leading SME’s / faculty to impart quality training & knowledge dissemination. Please encourage your students and faculty to participate in large numbers and take advantage of these reasonably priced but valuable courses.
