Eligibility: Master's Degree in Biological (Botany,. Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology)/Agricultural/ Veterinary/Fisheries Sciences /Pharmacy/Engineering/Technology, M.Tech (BiotechnologylLife Sciences), or equivalent Degree with at least 60% marks.
Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi 630 003 on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 300 (Rs.150 for SC/ST) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi
by enclosing a self-addressed stamped (Rs.25.00) envelope of 35 cm x 10 cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the requisition letter. Downloaded filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount.
Candidates appearing for the final year / semester examination can also apply.
Last Date for Receipt of Completed Applications: 20.05.2010
Selection will be based on Entrance Examination and Central Government's Reservation Policy.
Entrance Examination will be held on 26.05.2010 (02:00PM to 04:00PM) at Karaikudi and Chennai.
STUDENTSHIP: Rs. 5000 per month for one year (This Course is fully fulided by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi 110 003)
