Applications are invited in the prescribed form for the following teaching posts to be filled in, in the University Post-Graduate Departments at Kolhapur under General Recruitment Drive.

NOTE
1. Advertisement No. 7,8,9,10/2008 dated 10/10/2008 are cancelled as per decision of University Authorities. Therefore applications received in respect of said advertisements will not be considered.
2. Candidates belonging to reserved categories outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as OPEN as per G.R. No.CBC-1084/54577/(1813)/BCW-5, dated 1/11/1985 & Govt. Circular No.CBC-1688/(2829)/MAVAK-5, dated 29/7/1988.
3. A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided from 55% to 50% of marks at the Master's Level for SC/ST category if candidates with 55% marks are not available.
4. Reservation of women / disabled persons will be decided by the University authorities as per G.R.No.MISC/2001/(148)/Vishi-4, dtd.19/12/2001 and No. MISC/1003/(03/2004)/ EST-2 , dated 26/5/2004 respectively. If female candidates are not available, the posts will be filled in from male candidates of respective categories.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Candidates, who wish to appear for more than one post, should submit a separate application for each post.
2. Employed candidates must submit their applications through proper channel.
3. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
4. Incomplete application and application on plain paper or xerox copies of prescribed application forms will not be entertained.
5. The University will not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
6. Details of Pay Scales, Qualifications and Experience for the posts mentioned in the advertisement will be supplied separately alongwith the prescribed application forms and the same will be made available on the web site "www.unishivaji.ac.in".
7. Prescribed application forms (a set of 12 copies) can be made available from the University office on payment of Rs. 300/- in cash (not refundable) for open post or by post on sending a Demand Draft of Rs.325/-(not refundable) for Open post and on payment of Rs.150/- for reserved post in cash (not refundable) or by post on sending a demand draft of Rs. 175/- (not refundable) for reserved post drawn in favour of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur Branch.

However a D.D. of Rs. 300/- for open post and Rs. 150/- for reserved post drawn in favour of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur Branch should accompany the Application forms.
The application alongwith the attested copies of relevant documents enclosed to each copy of the application should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur - 416 004 so as to reach him on or before 16/6/2010.
