JRF/RA – 1 Post each
DST project entitled "Catfish ovarian Vasotocin and vasotocin receptor genes: molecular cloning characterization and expression, and role in spawning activity" sanctioned for 3 years.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Qualifications:
JRF - Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks in M.Sc. Zoology or Life Sciences (Animal System) & NET/GATE qualified. If suitable NET/GATE candidates arc not available non~qualificd candidates may be considered.
RA: Good academic record with PhD. in Zoology or Life Sciences (Animal System) with good knowledge of techniques used in molecular biology and gene cloning as supported by research publications.
The upper age limits are 28 and 35 years for JRF and RA, respectively. A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates. All being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
