Certificate Course in Clinical Research (CC-CR) - Part Time:
The Program is specially designed for students and working professionals in the health care and life science domain, and is meant to give them a sound introduction to the field of Clinical Research as possible career option. It will provide them with career openings as Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in Pharmaceutical companies, Contract Research Organizations, Site Management Organizations as Support Staff for Investigators, Hospitals, Surveillance staff for Sponsors of Clinical Trials, Biostatistics services to various clients involved with Clinical Trials, Regulatory and Drug Control Agencies, Training Faculty, Quality Assurance & Business Development etc., The Program also serves as a sound introduction to this domain for other potential players in the industry such as medical practitioners, pharmaceutical scientists etc.,
The duration for the Program is for 4 Months, consisting about 250 hours including 10 days of contact classes at AU-KBC Research Centre of Anna University ,Chennai and 16 weeks of distance learning managed by Auroville HealthCare Research and development Private Limited (AHC) & Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF) followed by 5 days of Observership at Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF), Chennai.
All aspects of the Program are advised by an Advisory Board of eminent experts and supervised by a Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) involving senior members from AU-KBC and AHERF.
