Junior Research Fellow (1 Post)

DBT Project “Feasibility of Biohydrogen and Biomethane Production from Sago Industry Effluent using Mixed Microbial Consortia in 2-stage Fixed-bed Anaerobic Reactors” (SP-192), being operated in the Microbial Sciences Division, (Period up to 21.07.2013), being filled through Walk-in-interview on 21.09.2010, as detailed below– [Post Code- JRF/SP-192]

Essential: (i) 1st Class M.Sc./M.tech in Microbiology/Biotechnology with B.Sc Microbiology/B.Tech Biotechnology + Clearance of CSIR-UGC / NET for JRF.

Desirable: Experience in anaerobic fermentation technology, microbial kinetics and modeling

Age Limit : JRF/Research Student – 28 Years (Relaxable as per rules)

Monthly Stipend : Rs.12,000/- (fixed) + HRA. In case of non availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree with 55% marks (as above) may be considered for Research Studentship on stipend @ Rs.11000/- (fixed) p.m.
