ABOUT THE TRAINING COURSE

Over the past decade, materials with nanoscopic dimensions have been the subiect of enormous interest because of the possibility to artificially create materials not found in nature with completely new properties. Nano Biotechnology, a new and emerging field has come to hold the solution to various problems in the field of life sciences, chemical sciences and physical sciences. The materials such as metals, ceramics, polymeric materials, biomaterials or composite materials have shown to have a wide range of potential in photo-thermal heat source, semiconductors, magnetic labels and biomedicals.

Naturally these functional properties have attracted the attention of Researchers to harness such nanoscale material and characterize them. In this perception, we ore delighted organize a training program for two weeks to explore the new avenues of Nano research by delivering lectures and conducting demo-session by the expertised resource persons from various reputed University/Institutes of India.

2. College/ University teachers:- ~ 2000/ -
3. Demond draft of Registration fee should be drown in favour of 'The Registrar' Karunya University, payable at 'Coimbatore'.
4 . The registration fee includes course material, food and accomodation.

HOW TO APPLY

Total No of participants : 20 (participants will be selected on first come first serve basis and no spot registration will be entertained.

Phase 1 : Applicants are requested to register (through e-mail-nsnbsttcb2010@gmail.com) with attached brief outline of how this training
course will benefit their research work on or before 10th November, 2010.

Phase 2 : Selected participants will be intimated by email on or before 12th November, 2010.

Phase 3 : Participants should send the demand draft along with completed registration form to the Course Director and Organizing Secretary so as to reach us on or before 20th November 2010.
