NATIONAL WORKSHOPS ON “METHODS IN IN VITRO TOXICOLOGY”

MGDC is organizing three national level workshops in a series on “Methods in in vitro toxicology”, at its In Vitro Toxicology Lab.
First: 2nd to 11th October 2010
Second: 24th December 2010 to 2nd January 2011
Third: 14th to 23rd March 2011
FOCUS ON In Vitro TOXICOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES:

The broad areas to be covered on various sessions include: Demonstrations as well as hands-on training of the various fundamental in vitro toxicological techniques, including basic practices in animal cell culture, and culminating in molecular targets in in vitro toxicology.

PARTICIPANTS:

1) Faculty of Universities/Colleges 2) Technicians/Scientists in industries /institutes 3) Research Scholars
The dates may be chosen by the applicants, to their convenience. Enrollment will be limited to 20 participants for each workshop. These workshops will be a regular affair; hence, those who are not selected in the first instance will be considered for the workshops in the future.

REGISTRATION FEE:

Rs.5000/- for fellowship holders and salaried persons & Rs.3000/- for non-stipendiary scholars.
The participants will have to bear the cost of travel, accommodation and food. However, food and accommodation can be arranged on request, for which the approximate cost will be Rs.3000/- per participant.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates should send the application enclosing a brief CV and a write up as to how the training will be useful in research/career, to mgdcaua@yahoo.in (or) directormgdc@bdu.ac.in.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION
October workshop: on or before 15th September 2010
December workshop: on or before 15th November 2010.
March workshop: on or before 15th February 2011.
