Research Associate (RA) in the Institute with Dr. Ananda K. Sarkar, Scientist, NIPGR, under "Short-Term Research Fellowship" programme.

The position is completely on temporary basis with maximum duration of three years. 

Candidates having Ph. D. degree (awarded) in any subject area of Life Sciences with throughout good academic record having first division.

The selected candidate is expected to work on molecular regulation of root stem cells and root branching in plant. 

Candidates with prior experience in a relevant area, expertise in advanced molecular biological techniques & bioinformatics tools are desirable.

Research Area: Plant molecular genetics and root development.

The Fellowship amount for the position will be given at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST.
