The meet, GEN-O-MEet, will feature interesting scientific deliberations and interactive sessions by eminent scientists and faculty working in the areas of genomics and proteomics.
The primary objective of the symposium is to provide exposure and opportunities to teachers as well as the students of undergraduate and postgraduate colleges, across the country to interact with some of the best researchers in the field.
The symposium also aims at giving the students an opportunity to showcase their talent through oral as well as poster presentations.
The students selected for 2 best oral presentations will be honored with Budding Biotechnologist Awards, along with cash prizes of Rs. 5000/- and 3000/-. The best poster presenter will be awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation. Certificate for participation will be given.
The last date for abstract submissions is October 12, 2010 and the last date for registrations is October 15, 2010.
