Educational Qualification 1st Class M.Sc. In Botany
Desirable: Experience in Plant Taxonomy
Stipend and Tenure: Rs. 12000/- pm
Tenure will be initially for one year or upto project period whichever is earlier and may be extended as per ICFRE rules.
Age: Upper age limit is 35 years for S.No.1 & 28 years for S.No.2 which is relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped applicants.
General Condition: Award of the fellowship is governed by the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education rules and does not have guarantee of subsequent employment in any Institute under the council. Application on the plain paper must be submitted to t he Group Coordinator (Research) R.C.S., Forest Research Institute, P.O. New Forest Dehradun within 15 days of its publication (Advertised date 6th October 2010).
