Project Assistant – Grade II (PA)
Name of the project “Molecular and genetic characterization of Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2” funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
Qualification
M.Sc. degree in Biology from recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks / equivalent grade.
Preference will be given to the candidates with CSIR/UGC NET Qualification.
Preference Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in handling Drosophila or mouse.
Fellowship Rs.12,000/- + HRA as admissible per month.
Tenure of the post Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period of one year subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the research project. Maximum tenure of the post is 3 years.

Post Doctoral Research Associate (RA) – 2 Posts

Minimum prescribed Educational Qualification
PhD (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or allied Sciences). Minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade at Masters Level.
Preference Preference will be given to candidates with good academic / industry records and capable of managing a project independently.
Job Requirements
Work with a team of graduate students and project assistants to characterize Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2.
Fellowship Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 24,000/- per month based on academic record and work experience of the candidate + HRA as admissible
