NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM on TRENDS IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

The recent Advance in technology and instrumentation has revolutionize modern research in biological sciences. The information generated in microbiology, plant sciences and animal sciences in general and molecular biology and biochemistry in particular is enormous. The advent of bioinformatics also fuelled the growth of modern areas like proteomics and genomics.

These advancements in research are playing an important role in the growth of agriculture and animal husbandry to great extent. Though the electronic media have made the exchange of information much faster, symposia or conferences play a vital role in personal interactions for the scientific community.

This symposium is aimed to provide a platform for exploring recent developments as well as to foster interactions among researchers working in the area of biological sciences. The conferencewill comprise invited talks by eminent scientist as well contributions from delegates. The focus will be on the following areas:

. Plant and Agricultural Sciences
. Human health, medicine and animal sciences
. Environmental sciences
. Food and fermentation
. Molecular biology and biochemical sciences
. Genomics & Proteomics

All the interested delegates are invited to submit an abstract of their research work which will be considered 
for oral/poster presentation.

Guidelines for Abstract PREPARATION AND REGISTRATION

The abstract should not exceed one page of A4 size paper. The text should be written in English (12 points font size) with 1.5 spacing. A hard as well as soft copy (CD or through email) of the abstract should be sent to the Organizing Secretary so as to reach before 31st December 2010. The abstract must be accompanied by the registration fee in favourof "UGC·-SA Symposium",

Faculty - Rs 800/-
Research Scholars - Rs 500/-

Accommodation Accommodation will be arranged in the University guest house on payment basis upon request. Delegates interested for accommodation are requested to pay Rs. 200/- as advance payment.
