Application Specialist - Bioanalytical Applications Laboratory
Key Skills MSc or PhD with atleast 3 to 5 years of experience in working in a Bioanalytical Labortaory.
Job Description
This group will work under the guidance of Head of Mass Spectrometry Operations in India and also have cross functional reporting to Senior Scientists in Millford for Pharmaceutical Analysis.
The goal is to develop and validate challenging Bioanalytical methods using advanced tandem quadrupoles like Xevo TQ and Xevo TQ-S. We plan to write detailed application notes using the methods developed for global distribution. It is also important that the person be able to work in a global environment, have ability towork as a team and interact with external customers during seminars, conferences and workshops.
Major Responsibilities:
• Develop Challenging Bioanalytical Methods
• Help in the writeup of Application Notes and Scientific articles in peer reviewed journals
• Conduct Mass Spectrometry and Bioanalytical training to Waters employees and customers.
• Maintain and continuously improve the technical capabilities of the BA Applications program in India.
• Respond to Management’s request, conduct refresher training for identified employees.
• Oversee and coordinate the planning of training seminars.
• Ensure the training sessions are both aligned and fulfilling the identified training needs
• Function as in-house consultant for area of expertise
