Senior Research Fellow & Project assistance 

DST funded project To understand the role of Micro RNA in drug resistant Retinoblastoma cells (F.No.SR/SO/HS-12/2009) under supervision of Dr.Vikas Khetan, Department of Ocular Oncology with Dr. S. Krishnakumar in Dept. of Nanobiotechnology/Pathology.

Essential Qualifications:

SRF: First class M.Sc with at least two years research experience/CSIR/UGC NET cleared candidates.

Project Assistance: M.Sc (Freshers can apply)

Age: Below 30 years

Duration: Three year or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier). Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for an interview.

Emoluments:

SRF: Rs. 18000/- + 15% HRA as per institution rules.

Project Assistance: Rs. 5000/- (Fixed)

Suitably qualified candidates are advised to send their application on plain paper with a copy of the full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned both email on or before December 10th, 2010. The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project and job title. As with all project positions at Vision Research Foundation, the position will be coterminous with end of the project.

In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview. The candidates with working experience in SiRNA, MiRNA related work will be preferred for SRF.
