TRAINING PROGRAMME ON USE OF GAS LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY (GLC)

14th to 18th February, 2011

The programme would cover various aspects such as:
  • GLC hardware training
  • Introduction to Aromatic crops with focus on major crops for region like Palmarosa, Vetiver, Lemon grass, Patchouli, Anethi , Cumine, Fennel etc.
  • Importance of GLC in relation to other advance equipments like GCMS with examples of crops like Mentha
  • Practical training on GLC with essential/aromatic oils for quality assurance and analysis of food crops to co-relate GC with smell and taste
  • Product Development
Applications are invited from scientists, technicians, students, entrepreneurs, farmers etc.

Participation fees: Rs. 5,000/- per participant (To be send in the form of DD in the name of Director, IIAR, payable at Gandhinagar.)
