Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has major research programs in Disease Biology & Molecular Medicine as well as Plant Biotechnology & Discovery.

Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for our PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.

General category applicants must have First Class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/KSCSTE/DBT and should be less than 28 years of age as on January 1 of 2011.

SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.

Completed applications along with the required fees may be submitted to the undersigned on or before January 3, 2011. Names of candidates called for shortlisting will be put up on the RGCB website on January 4, 2011 and will also be notified by email. Shortlisting and selection of candidates will be by Interview and Faculty interaction and will be from January 17 to 21, 2011.
