ASSOCHAM with its personal presence in South India with its Southern Regional Chapter headquartered at Bangalore, Karnataka. ASSOCHAM, known as “The Knowledge Chamber”, It would be followed up by offices in Hyderabad & Chennai.

NRDC (National Research Development Corporation) has been endeavoring in transfer of technologies from Research Institutions and Universities to Industry. In pursuance of this objective it is organizing this Seminar-cum B2B Meet.

ASSOCHAM With its huge membership base is facilitating the process for NRDC efficiently, the seminar cum B2B meet will draw participate from the “Biotech & Healthcare industry”. This program been organized by local partnership with The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce of Industry (FAPCCI). The Technology is the engine for productivity / prosperity. It also enables products to be manufactured at competitive prices for marketing locally and for exports. Technologies are also responsible for excellence in quality of products and their userfriendly design. Importance of technology transfer therefore, cannot be over emphasized.

About NRDC There are large numbers of Research Institutions under ICAR, CSIR and university set up by the Government of India, engaged in the development of technologies in the field of Agro-biotech, agro – processing, Healthcare-biotech, etc. The development of such technologies would be useful, if, these are successfully commercialized by the industry.The Corporation has developed a long-term association with all kinds of research institutes, including those engaged in the development, promotion and commercialization of technologies like CSIR, ICAR, ICMR, DRDO, IITs, CCARS, MFPI, Universities/Technical Institutes, Corporate R&Ds etc. and has been acting as active catalyst for transfer of technologies from these Organizations. The Corporation has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) for commercialization of the technologies with these National R&D organizations, universities, technical institutes etc for commercialization of the technologies developed by these institutions.

Technologies Offered and Stakeholders Technology transfers a dynamic process involving stakeholders from research and development institutions as well as value chain both in government as well as private domain. For keeping the process of technology transfer in motion it is important to create an platform for dialogue to keep the ball rolling. In the proposed programme efforts would be made to involve as many stakeholder as possible like, private sector companies, states government R&D institutions, medical research colleges, etc

Target Audience The Seminar cum B2B will be highly useful to Decision Makers of the industries, Project Managers, Consultants, Professors, Scientists, Students among others- for new projects, diversification programmes and also for up-gradation to technologies.
