Candidates having Ph. D. degree (awarded) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology etc. or related field with throughout good academic record having first division. Candidates with strong molecular biology and biochemistry background having experience in working transgenic system and tissue culture may apply. Candidates having additional experience with signaling mechanisms and reversible protein phosphorylation will be preferred.
The Fellowship amount for the position will be given at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST.
