About the Seminar

Computational biology can be considered a supradisciplinary field of knowledge that merges biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science into a broad-based science that is important to further our understanding of life sciences. The Seminar on computational biology will provide an excellent venue for researchers and students in the fields of computational biology to present their research findings and techniques. Invited talks by eminentexperts will enlighten the participants regarding the recent trends in Structural Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, and Algorithms in Bioinformatics, Molecular Modelling and Drug Designing. Oral and Poster presentations of contributed papers will be an integral part of this seminar.

Call for Oral & Poster Presentations Abstracts

f o r o r a l a n d p o s t e r p r e s e n t a t i o n i n t h e technical sessions of the seminar are invited from researchers, scientists and students in all areas of Bioinformatics. (genomics, proteomics, systems biology, algorithms, computer aided drug design and related fields) The abstract of the paper should be sent (not exceeding 250 words) through the Registration form given in the website http://www.avinuty.ac.in/NSCB/NSCB.htm along with the title of the paper, name of the author(s) and full address of correspondence including email on or before February 23, 2011. Accepted abstracts can be presented in the seminar and the full manuscript of the same will be published in the form of proceedings. Specification for poster is 120 cm x 80 cm.
