ICMR Training Programmes on IP and Innovation Management in knowledge Era 2011

The Intellectual Property Rights Unit of ICMR is proposing to organize two days training programmes on “Intellectual Property and Innovation Management in knowledge Era” in collaboration with the National Research Developmental Corporation, New Delhi. The main focus of this training workshop is to sensitize the researchers to identify and protect IP of R&D before publication.

 Six workshops are proposed to be held in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Scientists and faculty from medical colleges and other centres holding permanent positions and having an ICMR ongoing extramural research project are eligible to be considered for participation in these workshops. Preference will be given to those who have patents, engaged in downstream /translation/ sponsored research and consultancy, collaborated with the industry, transferred or received the biological material to industry etc.

Application can be sent by email also. There is no registration fee for the workshop. All expenses towards participation shall be borne by the participants. No TA/DA will be available for travel.
